MailChimp Setting Not Appearing In Dash

Gravity Forms MailChimp Add-On Settings Not Appearing

Issue Description

I’m currently experiencing an issue where the MailChimp Add-On settings are not appearing in my Gravity Forms dashboard. Despite having both Gravity Forms and the MailChimp Add-On installed and activated, the expected settings for configuring the MailChimp integration are missing. This prevents me from linking my forms to my MailChimp account and setting up automated email workflows.

Steps Taken

  • Installed and Activated Plugins: Verified that both Gravity Forms and the MailChimp Add-On are installed and activated on my WordPress site.
  • Checked for Updates: Ensured that both Gravity Forms and the MailChimp Add-On are up to date with their latest versions.
  • Cleared Cache: Cleared the website and browser cache to rule out caching issues.
  • Checked PHP Version: Made sure that my hosting environment is running on a compatible PHP version as recommended by Gravity Forms.

Expected Behavior

Normally, once the MailChimp Add-On is installed and activated, a new section for MailChimp should appear under the “Form Settings” tab in the Gravity Forms dashboard. This section is expected to contain options for connecting to a MailChimp account and configuring form fields to sync with MailChimp audience fields.

Actual Behavior

  • The MailChimp settings section is completely absent from the “Form Settings” tab.
  • No errors are displayed on the dashboard or in the WordPress debug logs that indicate what might be going wrong.

This is most likely a capabilities issue. Your user’s role may not have the gravityforms_mailchimp_ capabilities, even if you are an administrator, especially if you use a plugin to manage roles and capabilities.
