Layout_editor.min.js:1 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'isRtl' of undefined

Hi there,

We’re experiencing an issue with some (but not all) of our users where attempting to reorder (drag and drop) doesn’t work. Attempting to drag an item does not result in a visual change and throws an error in the console (see title) when attempting to access a function located on the global gform variable after upgrading to 2.5.2. The function name is ‘isRtl’ and based on the minified/uglified code it’s supposed to located at gform.tools.isRtl.

Upon page load before any action is taken, an error is also thrown when trying to initialize a new gform.components.dropdown instance.

Please let us know if any additional details are required. We’ve tested this across three clients internally and multiple browsers. Two clients are affected, but one is not. Unfortunately, we’re unable to find a consistent concomitant factor.

Thanks!

Hi @shenkener - I recommend opening a support ticket for this issue:

It sounds like it could be a conflict with other software on the site. You can check for conflicts on the site using the Health Check & Troubleshooting Plugin from WordPress. We have an article on how to do that on our website here: Testing for a Theme/Plugin Conflict using the Health Check & Troubleshooting Plugin - Gravity Forms Documentation

Please let us know what you find out.

Having the same issue. And many other JS Errors on the new version of Gravity Forms. Ran through troubleshooting mode. Same issue. Web hosting on WPEngine.com
