How do I send email 'report' to user based on form submission

Hello,

I am looking for a way to create a couple of forms on a website that presents the user with various questions and three options for each one. And depending on the user’s submission, Gravity Forms needs to send a “Report” via email to the user with a response to each question.

The user would be able to answer each question with either “Yes”, “No” or “I don’t know”. Every question and the selected option will be listed “Report” that is sent, as well as an automated response tailored to the selection.

Here is a visual example of the desired front-end:

The Report would look something like this:…

Question 1) Do you know how to set up a business?
You selected “Yes”.
Response: Great, it looks like you know what you’re doing.

Question 2) Do you know how taxes work?
You selected “No”.
Response: That’s okay, a surprising amount of people don’t!

Question 3) Would you consider yourself experienced with technology?
You selected “I don’t know”.
Response: We will get ensure you are well trained in the following areas:

  • List item
  • List item

I hope this is clear!

I have tried conditional statements but it isn’t advanced enough for what I need.
I would love to get some advice and preferably some code examples if at all possible!

Thank you so much for sharing this with me. Incredibly helpful and exactly, I believe, what I need.

Do you know if it’s possible whether with a premium add-on or built-in functionality, to somehow generate a PDF too? It’s a ‘nice-to-have’.
