Gravity Forms not visible and conditional logic not working

Same here also…

The rollout of GravityForms 2.9+ has been a complete disaster.

Its broken so many of my installations where having integrations with other GF approved third party API’s completely breaks them, all the while GF support says, “Oh, it must be a plugin conflict…not our problem…”

The last version that works without issues, especially with condition statements, is version 2.8.1 all the 2.9+ version fail without warning. It’s irrelevant to hosting environments, php versions, Cloudflare and WP Rocket caching enabled, disabled, barebones installs etc.

Not sure what is going on as I’ve been a GF loyal customer for more than a decade however, I’m seriously looking for alternatives at this point because I can’t afford to have clients forms being disabled via the deadly display:none jquery anomalous issue or API connections failing to propagate.

Hi all! I’m following up on and looking into this and was curious if anyone is still seeing this issue with the latest version of Gravity Forms? If you are and you can share a link to the site where you are seeing this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the follow-up, Ryan. While it took a couple hard-refreshes for the error to go away, I can confirm that the form does appear to be working as desired after updating to the 2.9.8.

Note for anyone else reading along: The environment I’m working on is using a custom block theme, WordPress 6.8.1, SiteGround for hosting, so your mileage may vary.

Hi Ryan! I’m still having this problem, and have reverted all websites to 2.9.5, after we noted a drop-off in submissions. We are getting a generic “There was a problem with your submission. Please review the fields below.” without any field-specific issue to remedy.

We’ve updated to 2.9.8 on staging (above) and the issue is still occurring there. The form is towards the bottom of this page, just before the footer.

Let me know if any further information would be helpful in debugging this. We’re holding steady on 2.9.5 for now. Thanks!

Hi there! Are you still seeing this @astuteco, and if so, did you go through the outlined steps to ensure you’ve cleared any hosting, site, and/or browser caching? Having tested this a fair bit, we are pretty confident at this point that it is indeed some variation of caching and/or performance add-ons resulting in this issue.

@astuteco your form appears to be failing reCAPTCHA v3 validation. Have you updated the list of sites that can use your v3 keys to include that staging site? Alternatively, you can disable the v3 integration for that form on the Form Settings > reCAPTCHA page.

Hey sorry for radio silence – I wrote out something but failed to send it. I resolved the recaptcha, then had mileage where the form submitted, the entry hit, but the only issue was not being redirected to the Thank You page appropriately. However, that had/has nothing to do with conditional logic.

When I looked to re-address this today, I am on 2.9.9.1 and cannot validate any ongoing issues. So thank you for looking into this, but I think this thread dies with me?
