Gravity forms generates deprecated HTML

We use a ticket system (GLPI) that uses the htmLawed library to clean HTML code from malicious content. The script in question is not handling the <font> tag properly.

Using <font> HTML directive is deprecated since a long time ago now.

Gravity Forms should be updated to replace this <font> tag by something else.

Is there a way to get around this?

Hi Luc. Can you share a link to the page on your site where we can see the form? Thank you.

Hello Chris,

Here’s a copy of the form:

https://formulaires.gi.polymtl.ca/index.php/test/

If you click on the radio box ‘Modification de choix de cours’, a table appears at the bottom of the page. When this form is submitted by email notification, it has deprecated ‘font’ tag for that table.

Thanks.

Here’s an example of what gets sent:

Merci d’avoir soumis une demande.

Nous communiquerons avec vous dans les meilleurs délais.

The font tag is still required in emails, as most email clients do not support modern CSS.
