Rather than appearing inside the button as a value, the button text is orphaned following the button.

A fix for some causes of this issue is included in version 3.0.1, which was released late yesterday.

Update data is cached locally for 24 hours to limit the number of requests to our API, so it does take time for WordPress to detect when an update is available. You can bypass the cache, forcing a request for the latest data, by visiting the Forms > System Status > Updates page.
Note: it will only be available to sites that are currently running version 3.0. For other sites, the slow rollout (staggered release) process is still active. It is available for manual installation from your support account downloads page.
