File upload field - Google Indexing? [RESOLVED]

I am testing GF as a solution for a new client. Their previous agency used a form-builder (built into the Avada theme) that ended up storing resume uploads in the WP-Content folder.

This obviously allowed resumes that were submitted to be indexed by Google. I believe that GF stores file uploads in a database.

So by default, any files uploaded by a website visitor, using and embedded GF job-application form would NEVER be found or indexed by Google.

After I’ve tested this function on a dev website, the resulting URL for the file upload does not seem to be publicly accessible.

So I can only assume my assumption is correct.

Looking for validation or warnings here - thanks so much!!

Ok - Wow - I think that completely answers my question. That was super thorough.

Thanks, Richard!
