Error message after submitting a form: ”There has been a critical error on your website”

I just set up a Wordpress staging site to update to the latest Avada and plugins. Everything seems to be working just fine, except for one Form.

I have about 20 Forms that are pretty much set up all the same. All of them work except for this one. When I click on the Form to edit, it all behaves normally except for when I click on Styles & Layouts, then I get a box with the message " There has been a critical error on this website. Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.

I also get this message when I click on preview.

As I said all Forms are set up the same.
The only plugin I haven’t updated is called Advanced Custom Fields PRO (5.8.9)
I don’t appear to have an account with ACF and perhaps it was bundled at one point with Gravity Forms as an add-on? Not sure. I’ve deactivated the plugin and still had the same trouble.
I also have Gravity Wiz plugins and I’ve deactivated them all and still had issues.

My live site, which hasn’t been updated, is functioning just fine.

Any ideas would be much appreciated. I am at a loss. I’ve compared everything I could between the failing form and functioning forms and I can’t come up with any issues.

Thanks
Kate

When WordPress displays that error message, it also sends an email to the website admin email address. That email will contain the stack trace and error message, which are critical to figuring out what is going wrong here. Do you have that email?

If not, we will need to find the error message another way (that can be in the web server error log, or using WP_DEBUG.) Please let us know if you have the email or the error message, and what that says. Thank you.
