Deleting a field used in multiple forms

I created a new form by duplicating another. I’m modifying the new form and want to eliminate several fields. I’m warned this will delete data associated with those fields.

Is this only form the specific form I’m editing, or will it delete data from all forms using this field name?

It is just specific to the form you are currently editing.
