Creating random entry_id with gform_entry_id_pre_save_lead function does not work and stays the same

Hi there,

I would like to generate random entry_id’s when submitting the form.

Unfortunately, it does not work with the function of Gravity. Not even via a custom field.

Hi Steve. The entry ID is going to be sequential and unique in Gravity Forms. There is no way around that. However, if you need a unique ID assigned to each entry that you can use for some other purpose, you can use this plugin from Gravity Wiz:
