Concerned: Spam Emails Not Blocked

Afer marking incoming emails as spam (using Gravity Forms), they keep showing up in my inbox (repetitively). Honeypot and reCAPTCHA are enabled.

Below please find a sample email address that keeps showing up in my inbox. Note: The screenshot below depicts the email address AFTER I moved it to the Spam folder.

What’s going on? Can you test the email address with your form(s)?

Email Address: damiangrant@ivctecchnologies.org

Help appreciated.

Thank you.

Out of the box, marking an entry as spam simply moves the entry from the all view to the spam view, so no training is performed.

If the site is using Akismet or a score-based reCAPTCHA Enterprise key via the reCAPTCHA Add-On, Akismet & Google will be notified about the status change, which does help train their filters. They don’t indicate how long that training takes to have an impact.

If you want to block submissions or automatically mark them as spam based on the email address, try the latest version of the Zero Spam Add-On by GravityKit. You can configure the email rejection settings on the email field in the form editor, or on its main Forms > Settings > Zero Spam page.
