Need help with cleaning up some php code that used to work with GF

Hi there,

i need some assistance with the optimization of some code that I have written (mostly customized from existing examples). We are using Gravity extensively on our website and my PHP knowledge is limited and also the code has gotten more and more complicated.
Now we are facing some 502 errors on our site and by looking into the error logs, I am seeing a lot of notices and also warnings related to the code that we are using for some functionality in the forms that we have on our site.
