Hidden number does not display in notification

Here is my notification: the {Estimate:48} is empty. If I flip the number field to visible it will display in the notification. However I want the customer to submit, before seeing this value.

Thank you for you interest in our services. Your estimated total cost is ${Estimate:48}. Online estimates are not final. Every estimate is finalized by an onsite technician.

Hi Stephen. Fields with “Hidden” visibility on the Advanced tab will be included in the notification by default, with no merge tag modifier required. I tested it with a calculated Number field with Visibility set to Hidden. I recommend opening a support and including your form export if you need assistance:
