Facing "undefined" error inside address field

Hi, I’m experiencing an issue with the official Geolocation Add-On (v1.5.2).

The address autocomplete suggestions work correctly, but after selecting an address, the Street Address field is populated with **“undefined” (We Buy Houses Sumter SC - WE ARE BUYING HOUSES -BUYINGHOMES.COM), while the City, State, ZIP Code, and Country fields are filled correctly.

I’ve already verified that:

  • Google Maps JavaScript API and Places API are configured correctly.

  • The issue occurs in multiple browsers.

  • There is no duplicate Google Maps API loading.

Could you please help identify why the Street Address field is being set to “undefined” after selecting an address?

This is a known issue with the new Places API integration. The product team have an issue for it in their queue to fix in the next version of the add-on.

Thank you for confirming. Is there an estimated release date for the next version? If possible, could you provide a beta build or temporary patch containing the fix, as this issue is affecting a live client website?

We cannot say when the issue will be worked on or when a fix will be available. Factors such as severity, priority, and balancing bug fixes with new features all affect resolution time.
