I believe I have found a bug/conflict with automatic updates for WP plugins and Gravity forms. I have tested this on multiple installations.
If I set Gravity Forms to use automatic updates, using the Gravity Forms settings UI, Gravity Forms updates work. I can go to the plugins page that list all the plugins, and I see that Gravity Forms is set for automatic updates/Turned on.
However the problem is, if I have all my plugins set to automatic updates, using either plugin or the code below, all of my plugins will update automatically, and show that they are set for automatic updates, EXCEPT, Gravity Forms will now show that Automatic Updates are Turned OFF, only for gravity forms. If i go into Gravity Forms settings, it still has automatic updates turned ON. I have tried turning this off and on, in case that had something to do with it, but no.
This is happening because the installed version is the latest version available via auto-update. Auto-updates aren’t actually disabled, the plugin will still update when a new version is released.
Hi there. Unfortunately, that is not correct. This has happens regardless of what version of Gravity is installed. Auto updates are disabled because there is a conflict/bug. I have tested with over 100 plugins, Gravity Forms is the only plugin that auto updates breaks when worpress plugins are set to auto update using
