so i have a form with 2 sections, 5 fields each. I want section 1 to be blue, section 2 to be red. I’m ok with css but the section fields seem to affect only that field i want the whole 5 fields of section 1 to be blue. How please many many thanks!
Hi Gabriel. The Section Break field is a visual separator in the field, it does not have a beginning and an end: it is a single field that can be styled, but the rest of the fields after that section opening, before the next section, can’t be styled as a group.
One plugin you could consider that will help you style ‘sections’ in your form is the JetSloth Collapsible Sections plugin: Gravity Forms Collapsible Sections - JetSloth
Take a look at their demo and see if that is something you are interested in. I will leave this open to see if anyone has an approach to styling ‘sections’ of a Gravity Forms form. Thank you.
thank you so much. I think i’ll go the individual field css route however. Our budget is getting thin but I’ll forward to my client for consideration just the same.
I don’t think this is possible with the current markup of Gravity Forms.
You can change the background color of the address field which has several fields but you’d be lucky 
if that’s what you were wanting to style.
