Advanced Post Creation with multiple images

I admit this is driving me crazy.
I use Gravity Forms Advanced Post Creation, and Metabox.
I’ve created 2 custom fields (field type single image) to be added to my posts in Metabox. The fields show up in posts.
Then I created the form to be used for frontend post creation.
Beside title, text etc I added 3 file upload fields for 3 images that can be added to each new post. Post creation feed: one image file upload is then mapped to the post’s featured image, the other 2 are mapped to the custom fields I created with their corresponding field IDs.

Form submission works, email notification works (including the 2 additional image files), but the 2 additional image files are not stored to the new post. No idea where they went. They are not in the media library either.
The one image mapped to the featured image is saved in the post, the 2 additional ones are not.
What am I missing?

Hi Andre,

Any image-type custom fields won’t be added to the media library by default, which is probably why they’re not showing up on the post.

It would be worth giving GP Media Library a try, to see if that resolves the issue. We haven’t tested it with Metabox specifically, but it works for uploading images to custom ACF fields, so will likely work with Metabox too.

Any issues or questions, give us a shout!

Hi! I am a new user and get message I do not have permissions to upload images for my posts. Can anyone please assist?
