# STRIPE - Calculate TAX/VAT API - PLEASE HELP!

Hi

I am in desperate need of some help with the GF Stripe add-on and getting it to pass the payment through the “STRIPE CALCULATE TAX API” so that I recognises that the transaction contains 20% vat and both accounts for that in the payment, but also in turn includes that in the customer’s email receipt that it generates.

I’ve setup the form to take a payment (which is the total INC UK VAT)  
I’ve setup the UK tax code/rate in STRIPE

It is currently taking the payment no problem, but not handling/recognises any of the VAT/TAX side of things.

I spoke with Stripe support and they said because Gravity is handling the payment its a GF issue not Stripe so they won’t help…they referred me to this support page:

It seems to give lots of code snippets, but I’m not at all sure how to implement them.

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP??

It doesn’t specifically list a Stripe integration but I’m curious if this might help…

Not sure if this will help, but I use the Gravity Wiz e-commerce field plugin to handle tax and other calculations:
