# Saved Search Feature

It would be useful to allow users to create Saved Searches and get notified when specific keywords are present in a post. This allows people to keep apprised of topics that are of interest to them or relevant to their business. For example, as a plugin developer I’d be interested in notifications for any posts that references PDFs.

[Discourse have a plugin available that adds this functionality](https://github.com/discourse/discourse-saved-searches). Is that something that could be installed?

Looks like we’re on the hosted version of Discourse and that plugin is not available for installation. We’ll keep it in mind though if something changes.
