# Linking conditioned logic

I want an HTML Block and a drop down menu to appear with the same conditioned logic. There will be ongoing changes to the logic so i want the two fields to link so that I do not have to change the logic in both. IF one appears I want the other to appear as well. Is there a way to link them?

If you nest the two fields within a [section](https://docs.gravityforms.com/section-break/) you can apply conditional logic to the overall section once, and then all fields within that section will be affected by that conditional logic.

That inheritance of conditional logic applies until another section break occurs, a page break occurs, or the form ends.

I have done that to resolve the issue temporarily, however I was hoping there was a way to link them without using a section to separate?
