# How can I edit an entry with Post fields?

I need to edit data input in Post fields and to be updated it in the entry (not the post)
All the Post type fields has this text:
You can edit this post from the post page.
It links to the post but it doesn’t changes the entry. It can’t be edited like the rest of the standard fields of the form.
Is there a way to edit the information of these Post fields?

All field types (including post fields) can be edited through [Gravity Flow’s User Input step](https://docs.gravityflow.io/article/23-configuring-user-input-step). This would also give you added flexibility to add [Approval step](https://docs.gravityflow.io/article/22-approval-process)s that, for example, could let you send the potential changes back to the original submitter (via email address as assignee) to confirm they are comfortable with the proposed changes.

The problem with GravityView is that it doesn’t allow you to edit posts created by Advanced Post Creation (a GF own plugin).
