I would like to hide blank fields in the Notification emails sent to both the customer and supplier. Currently we are using the code {all\_fields} and it is including all fields by default.

Hi Steve. By default, empty fields will not be sent in the email. You should not have empty headers with no submitted information. This is the entry view in the dashboard when you enable the “show empty fields” checkbox.

 ![entry view (empty)](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex020/uploads/gravityforms1/original/2X/c/cd7bdb69ed3f992d5783932b84962db48b96fba7.png)

When that email notification arrived, those empty sections were not present:

If you are getting empty fields in the email notification, there is something else going on. If you need help troubleshooting that, I recommend opening a support ticket here:

I want to remove the headers if there is no info submitted

The headers are not included if there is no data submitted in that field.

Are you using Section fields in your form? If so, those will be included in the notification no matter what. That field does not know if any data was submitted in a field that came after that section field.

Is that what’s happening to you?

Chris

Here’s the form in the website:

And here’s a screenshot (note the user did not fill out info in the product fields other than the first one). is there a way to hide these fields in the email if the user did not enter content?

“# of Kits” is a valid choice, so it is correctly saved to the entry and output in notifications.

To prevent that from happening, you need to delete the choice from the field. You can add the text to the placeholder setting on the appearance panel instead. The placeholder is not a valid choice, so it will not be saved to the entry, and won’t be output in notifications.
