Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a major update I’ve been working on for Gravity Geolocation.

Over the past year, I’ve rebuilt Gravity Geolocation into a more complete platform for location-aware Gravity Forms workflows. From address collection and validation to calculations, routes, maps, geographic shapes, and frontend search.

Each form component is an individual Gravity Forms field, so connected fields can be placed anywhere, even across pages of a multi-page form, while remaining synchronized and available to Gravity Forms calculations, conditional logic, notifications, confirmations, merge tags, and feeds.

## Location collection

Collect addresses, coordinates, map-selected locations, or a visitor’s current position using fields built specifically for Gravity Forms.

## Address validation

Compare an entered address with a standardized recommendation from the Google Address Validation API, then let the visitor accept the recommendation or keep the original entry.

## Distance, duration, pricing, routes, and directions

Calculate travel distance and time between locations, then use the distance in meters or duration in seconds in Gravity Forms calculations to charge per unit of distance or travel time—for delivery fees, mileage charges, service pricing, and other variable costs. You can also display routes between two or more locations with maps and turn-by-turn directions.

## Nearest locations

Compare a visitor’s location with configured destinations, display the closest matches on a map, and pass the selected location’s information into other Gravity Forms fields.

## Drawing tools and geographic shapes

Let visitors draw points, lines, polygons, rectangles, circles, and freehand shapes for service areas, property boundaries, coverage zones, proposed routes, and similar workflows.

## Entry maps

Display a location from one Gravity Forms entry with the Single Entry Map, or combine locations from multiple entries on a Mashup Map with custom markers, information windows, and marker clustering.

## Gravity Search

Search, filter, map, and display Gravity Forms entries on the frontend to build directories, locators, portals, listings, and other searchable applications without moving data into another system.

I’d love to hear what kinds of location-based workflows you’re building with Gravity Forms and which examples or tutorials would be most useful to see next.

Thanks!

I use location for an 1100 member website, but only load 400 or so on the country as it takes too long to load. I’d be interested to see if by using Gravity geolocation would improve my current setup (google maps with paid memberships pro member data) for clustered viewing.

Hi, which map integration are you currently using? Is it Paid Memberships Pro’s Member Directory map or something else?

Also, do you use Gravity Forms to collect member addresses, or are they stored only in the member profiles? That would help me better understand your setup and whether Gravity Geolocation would be a good fit.
