I have a contact form which includes a required Email field. The form notification From Email matches the site domain, and the Reply To field is the visitor’s email address from the form: {Your Email:2}

Notification emails where the web visitor enters a gmail account cause this error: _WordPress was unable to send the notification email. Could not instantiate mail function._

All other visitor email accounts work and the notifications send as expected. If I leave the Reply To field empty, the notification works.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Chances are the issue is with your outgoing mail server. You can start with these instructions for troubleshooting:

> **[Troubleshooting Notifications](https://docs.gravityforms.com/troubleshooting-notifications/)**
>
> Gravity Forms uses WordPress' built-in sendmail (wp-mail.php) to send its e-mail notifications. If you are having trouble sending or receiving Notifications, please try the following steps.

If you need assistance, please open a support ticket:
[https://www.gravityforms.com/open-support-ticket/technical/](https://www.gravityforms.com/open-support-ticket/technical/)

And include the following:

**The form export:**

> **[Exporting a Form](https://docs.gravityforms.com/exporting-a-form-from-gravity-forms/)**
>
> In this article, we will show you how to easily export any forms you have created using Gravity Forms.

**Your system status report:**

> **[Checking Your Environment Details](https://docs.gravityforms.com/checking-environment-details/#h-sending-system-reports)**
>
> As of Gravity Forms 2.2, it's possible to see full details on your hosting environment from directly within Gravity Forms. Investigating your environment details is one of the first and most helpful steps when troubleshooting an issue.

Thank you.
