# Geolocation field / drop pin

Hello,

Brand new to Gravity Forms. I was hoping that I could add an optional field for the user to click and add their current location. It doesn’t seem like this would be a tall order, but the fields provided by the basic license are quite limited. Not sure I am willing to custom develop to get this. Trying to decide if I am going to ask for a refund or not and wondering if anyone does anything with geolocation that could help ? Not willing to buy an add on at this time as it is for a non-profit and do not have the budget this early in the game with all the other things racking up with this.

Hello. There is no Geolocation field in Gravity Forms. It is on our list of requested features for a future version of Gravity Forms. Gravity Wiz does have one currently, but that is a separate paid add-on.

If you would like to show you support for a Geolocation field, I recommend adding a note to our product roadmap. Click the blue plus in the lower left on this page to add a note for our product team:
