Date Field in List

Hi, I have 2 date-field related questions:

  1. Is it possible to have a date field in the format e.g.: 22 October 2017 instead of 22/10/2017

  2. I need to add a date field in a list. Is this possible? (Preferably also in the above format if achievable).
