AskEntries 0.2.3: Ask a question across multiple Gravity Forms—from your dashboard

Hi everyone! :waving_hand:

I’ve updated AskEntries for Gravity Forms with something that makes working across multiple forms much easier: universal search from the WordPress dashboard.

Click the floating AskEntries icon, select a few forms—or All Forms—and ask your question in plain English.

For example:

  • “Who wants their money back?”
  • “Who is having payment problems?”
  • “Which customers mentioned delivery delays?”

What’s new in version 0.2.3?

Search across forms in one place
You no longer need to open each form’s Entries page and repeat the same question.

See which form each result belongs to
Results include their source form, with per-form match counts and buttons to browse one form’s results without rerunning the search.

Clearer relevance filtering
New universal searches start with All supported matches. You can narrow the results afterward, with clearer visibility into what the filter hides.

Ask follow-up questions about an entry
Open a submission in the side panel and ask about that specific entry while keeping your results available. Entry conversations are temporary and aren’t saved.

Improved mobile layout
The form-selection and relevance controls now wrap properly on smaller screens.

Saved questions and device-local history are also available for universal search, separately from your individual-form searches.

What makes it different from keyword search?

AskEntries compares meaning, so it can help surface differently worded requests—not just submissions containing your exact search term. Matching isn’t infallible: results include supporting text for you to review.

Analysis runs locally in your browser, without sending submission text to an external LLM API. Large searches use a bounded entry budget and show a notice when coverage is partial.

I’d love to hear how you’d use cross-form search. What question do you find yourself repeatedly trying to answer from your submissions?
